Hello , My name is Lyndell Fortin. I have been designing and drawing plans for homes, extensions, units, commercial buildings, shops and just about anything else that need plans for Council or construction for over 30 years now.

I am also a trained natural therapist, so if you have ended up here from a google search, please accept my apologies and use the link in the header bar or click here to go to my therapy site. Google has cross linked me and I can not get them to change it.

Back to drafting :-) , I started the business when my son was 3 years old and my daughter had just started school. I was always interested in home designs and my husband was a carpenter at the time.

I was looking for something to stimulate my mind and my creative energies as well as something that I could do from home to work around my children. I was one of the first, if not the first draftsperson to present plans to local councils drawn on a computer. Times change and now most plans are done using a CAD program.

30+ years later, and several thousand designs and happy clients later,  my children have grown up and I am now a proud grandmother. I still enjoy working with people who are looking to have their own personal designs for their homes.

It is extremely exciting and rewarding when I run into clients a year or so after we have designed their home or extension and find that the work is done and they are enjoying their new living space. It is lovely to be invited to see how things worked out so well for them.

I do my best to keep the plan prices as reasonable as possible, as I was young and struggling to get more affordable space during my younger family years too.
I specialize in working with families to get that perfect design that works for them as well as being functional, attractive and affordable.

My now X husband and I were licensed builders for many years and I have built quite a few homes for our family as well as for sale, so my experience is not just in design.

I listen to you and do everything possible to give you what you want with advise when needed to make things work more efficiently or more within your budget.
